What we collect

When you request access or use JobLens we collect your name, email address and password, the contents of any resume you upload, the profile details you enter and the job descriptions you add. We also record your credit usage so your balance stays accurate.

How we use it

Your data is used for one purpose, running JobLens for you: assessing your profile, scoring your fit against jobs, generating tailored resumes, cover letters and interview preparation, and managing your account and credits. We do not sell your data, and we never use the contents of your resume, profile or saved jobs for advertising.

Where it lives and who processes it

Your data is stored securely with our cloud database provider in an Indian region. To generate results, the relevant parts of your profile and job text are processed by trusted third party service providers under contract. Payment details, when payments launch, will be handled by a payment provider and never stored by us.

Your rights

You can view and edit your profile at any time. From Settings you can export a copy of all your data or permanently delete your account, which removes your profile, jobs, generated materials and login. You can also write to support@joblens.in for any request about your data, and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Cookies and advertising measurement

We use the Meta pixel on this site to measure whether our ads bring people to JobLens. It sets cookies and tells Meta that a page was viewed and, if you create an account, that a signup happened. We send no personal information with it: not your name, not your email, and nothing from your resume, profile or saved jobs. You can block it with your browser settings or an ad blocker, and JobLens will work exactly the same.

Retention

Your data is kept while your account is active. When you delete your account it is removed from live systems immediately. Pending access requests that are rejected are cleared periodically.
